Willamette moved to 5-7-0 overall and to 4-4-0 in the Northwest Conference. PLU is now 2-9 overall and 2-6 in the NWC.
After playing to a 0-0 tie through the first half, freshman Sabine Wetzel (MF, Martinez, CA/Campolindo HS) scored her third goal of the season to give the Bearcats a 1-0 lead in the 50th minute. Wetzel re-directed a pass from Maddy Grainger (So., F, Salt Lake City, UT/West HS) to score the goal. Grainger has three assists this season. Read Full Article
