Suspect Sought in Independence Armed Robbery

(INDEPENDENCE, Ore. ) - Independence police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred Saturday night.

Police say a male subject armed with a handgun entered the Kwik Stop Market, located at 810 N. Main Street around 10:30 PM and demanded money.

The suspect is described as either white or Hispanic, between 5'8 and 5'10, with a thin build.

He was last seen wearing a blue bandanna over his face, black gloves, white tennis shoes, blue jeans, black beanie style stocking cap, and was carrying a blue backpack.
