Healing Field Meets Many Goals

A somber event, Salem's recent Healing Field was a multi-dimensional benefit to the local community.

(SALEM) - Oregon's 9-11 Memorial at Salem's Riverfront Park, The Healing Field, will be donating $40,000 to two local charities. Proceeds from the sale of flags at the event generated enough income to allow us to give $10,000 to Family Building Blocks and $30,000 to The Oregon National Guard Foundation which helps injured troops and their families. The organizers say they are proud to have produced such a wonderful event for the Salem area and fulfill a commitment to help these two important groups.
