(PORTLAND, Ore.) - The wife and daughters of Mark Bosworth are returning to Portland while other relatives arrive in Southern Oregon to keep canvassing the area and search for Mark.

Mark, age 54, disappeared late Friday, September 16 in Riddle, Oregon, after volunteering with Cycle Oregon. In the days before and the night of his disappearance, Mark appeared confused and not always sure just where he was.

Mark’s wife Julie and daughters Kelly and Claire have been in Southern Oregon for the past week, helping search areas in and around Riddle. They will now head the Find Mark campaign from their home in Oregon, while relatives from New York take up the post in Southern Oregon.

Coworkers set up Find Mark booth at Sunday Parkways (noon-5 p.m.)

Metro employees – volunteering on their personal time – will turn the normal Metro booth at Sunday Parkways into a Find Mark booth today. The booth will be on Northeast Ainsworth Street, between 24th and 25th avenues. They will be handing out fliers and telling anyone and everyone about Mark – a coworker, friend, father and husband – and asking people to look out for Mark and share his plight with anyone they know.

Online efforts help spread the word about Mark

Online and social media efforts are helping spread the word about Mark. Find Mark pages have been set up on Facebook at www.facebook.com/FindMarkBosworth and on Twitter at @FindMarkB with posts using the hashtag #findmarkbosworth. Information is also continually being updated at www.FindMark.org.

A $10,000 reward is being offered by Deckers Outdoor Corporation, Julie Bosworth’s employer, for information directly resulting in locating Bosworth. If anyone has contact with or sees Mark, they are asked to immediately call their local authorities. If they believe they may have seen Mark since his disappearance, they should call the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Tip Line at (541) 957-2099. Refer to Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Case # 11-3534.
