(STAYTON, Ore. ) - Stayton Police arrested arrested 54-year-old Larry Gay for Impersonating a Police Officer and Criminal Trespass at the Bottle Factory Tavern at 1883 West Ida St. in Stayton. Gay had been in the tavern and had been requested to leave by the employees after several incidents with other patrons. Instead of leaving he told the employee he was going to be a Stayton Police Reserve and showed her a badge indicating he did not have to leave. Gay is not and has not been a Stayton Police Reserve Officer. Gay was booked into the Marion County Jail on Impersonating a Police Officer and Second Degree Criminal Trespass charges.
