Israeli Diplomacy in Support of Saudi Arabia

(SALEM, Ore.) - According to the Jerusalem Post, only a week after the meeting of Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister Dore Gold with officials of the Turkish Foreign Ministry in Rome, he also met with Assistant Foreign Minister for Neighboring Countries’ Affairs Osama Majdoub, as well as other senior officials to improve Israeli ties with Turkey, Egypt and Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia's coalition with Turkey and Israel will have a significant role for the Region's future.

In these meetings, Gold supported the Saudi aggression on Yemen and lauded such action as an historical decision made by Saudi Arabia, and then he asked Egypt for more weapons and logistical aid to Saudi Arabia.

Dore Gold is an Israeli diplomat and the current President of the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs. In May of this year, Netanyahu named him Director-General of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
