The meeting is held every third Friday at 12:30 p.m. on the Chemeketa Campus.

The purpose of the meeting is to inform services providers of all services in the Salem area so each provider can become a one-stop information center for all services including family support issues, education issues, physical and Mental health issues, employment issues and many other areas.

Currently ten percent of Oregon's population are military veterans, yet Oregon is one of only three states without a major military installation.

This resource meeting, along with the Tigard resource meeting addressing these issues in the Multnomah, Washington and Clackamas County, and the Vet Net meetings in Eugene, allows the enormous amount of information and resources in the community, to get to those who need it.

New attendees are given a chance to speak about their programs and offerings to veterans. After the meeting there is time to network with other attendees.
