Salem Public Library to Host Local Candidate Forums

(SALEM) - The public is invited to come and meet and hear from local legislative candidates at the Salem Pubic Library on September 21st and October 5th from 6:30 to 8:30 PM in Loucks Lecture Hall, 585 Liberty Street SE.

The candidate forums are sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Marion & Polk Counties, the Salem City Club, the American Association of University Women, and Friends of the Salem Public Library.

The candidates are scheduled as follows: September 21st – 6:30-8:30 PM:

House District 21 Brian Clem and Billy Dalto
House District 22 Betty Komp and Carl Wieneke
House District 25 Charles Lee and Kim Thatcher
Senate District 11 Peter Courtney and Jared Thatcher
October 5th – 6:30-8:30 PM:
House District 20 Vicki Berger and Connie Garcia
House District 19 Kevin Cameron and Brian Grisham
Senate District 10 Paul Evans and Jackie Winters
