(LONDON) - For those struggling to understand the constant daily tragedy inflicted on the population of Palestine by the Israeli government, this video is a good resource and educational tool.

We have written about Lauren Booth before; she is a tireless journalist from the UK whose voice has been strong and clear as she has personally labored for change and for the relief of the Gaza population.

Lauren Booth was on the first Free Gaza voyage and stayed to work in Gaza after the boats left. Her heartfelt letter to the people of Israel should be read by everyone who hopes for peace in the Middle East.

Last May, at the time of the last Freedom Flotilla for Gaza, Lauren wrote:

"After calls to newsrooms across the UK it is clear to me that the first ever sea bound fleet of international aid to Palestine is not of itself a big enough story for our media – until if fails. On Israel’s terms. The BBC has been taking some 200 calls in an hour from viewers wanting news of the mission – to no avail. So what’s going on?" ^[1]

Lauren is point on and this is a problem that creeps through all western newsrooms. Criticism of Israel's deadly apartheid government is almost completely blocked from the news. This, at a time when Israel's policies are increasingly being compared to those of Adolph Hitler's genocidal Third Reich.
