Sep-10-2012 14:06TweetFollow @OregonNews William Gomes's Account is Credible: Khaldea Zia's Assassination Might Be PlannedTim King Salem-News.comMr. William Gomes broke the story yesterday about a looming assassination attempt of a top Bangladeshi official.
(SACRAMENTO, CA) - Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, a Bangladeshi politician, currently holds the post of acting secretary general of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP). The country’s three times former government party has quoted the news of Salem-News Human Rights Ambassador William Gomes. He said the news is credible and there is a chance that the assassination of Begum Khaleda Zia has been planned. It was quoted by different news media including broadcast, print, radio and online. This is an incredible array of media response; most of the articles below are in Bangladeshi, they reference Mr. Gomes' report and any curious English speakers (or from any other language covered) can visit the Google Translator page, feed the copy from any of the following articles into the box on the left, and the English version will show on the right. One English language publication wrote:
- Plot being cooked up to kill Khaleda: Fakhrul - New Age Bangladesh It is almost comical- the assumption that Salem-News.com is a Canadian online paper, I guess they don't expect such things from we Americans and our friends. By the way, that is 'Gomes' rather than 'Gomez'. We are always excited about the accomplishments of Mr. Gomes, a serious Human Rights defender who leads media intervention online, his dedication can barely be described.
