(CLACKAMAS, Ore.) - The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office is searching for a suspect in a home-invasion, rape and robbery incident that occurred this morning in Eagle Creek. The incident happened this morning inside a residence on SE Wildcat Mountain Drive in Eagle Creek, according to Detective Jim Strovink with the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office. The victim is a woman in her 60's. She reported that a male subject armed with a knife broke into her home, raped her and stole an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect reportedly fled the residence at approximately 11:34 AM, after hearing the victim's husband drive-up. Strovink says the suspect is believed to have remained inside the residence less than half-an-hour prior to fleeing the scene on foot. No suspect vehicle information has been determined at this time, he added. The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office is currently looking for the suspect, described by the victim as a white male adult, five foot seven, 160 pounds, in his 30's. He reportedly had medium length hair that was very dark. He was last seen wearing a navy-blue pullover, long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans, black NY Yankees baseball cap and a black hoodie. Strovink says the victim of this rape was not seriously injured with the weapon utilized by the armed suspect; however, she has been transported to a local hospital for an appropriate medical examination. In addition, a Rape Victim Advocate has been summoned to assist this victim through this alarming ordeal. A Clackamas County Sheriff's Office Major Crimes Unit detective is on the scene coordinating this ongoing investigation and working directly with personnel representing the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office Crime Scene Investigation Unit. "The Sheriff's Office is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of this subject," Strovink said. If you know anything about the whereabouts of this suspect, call the Sheriff's Office confidential Tip Line at 503-723-4949.
