(FOT KLAMATH, Ore.) - A Fairview-area woman died late Sunday night in a single vehicle fatal crash on Highway 62 near Fort Klamath. Two others received minor injuries. Oregon State Police say that Sunday at approximately 11:00 PM, a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by 29-year old Renea Michelle Midgley of Fairview, was negotiating a left curve on Highway 62 near milepost 95 when it lost control. The Jeep Grand Cherokee left the south side of the highway, swerved back onto the road and crossed both lanes where it went into a ditch on the north side and flipped onto its top coming to rest in a canal. Renea Michelle Midgley was pronounced deceased at the scene. Two passengers were able to get out of the vehicle with minor injuries. They are identified as 21-year old Christopher Kevin Roberts of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, and 23-year old Ionut Burlaca of Romania. Investigators are not sure if the three were wearing their seat belts. The three individuals were reportedly employees at Crater Lake National Park. Oregon State Police troopers from the Klamath Falls Area Command Office are completing the investigation. Chiloquin Medical and Fire personnel responded to the scene to assist. Renea, I am writing to you although you will never be able to read this. I just want you to know what a wonderful sister you were, from playing pranks on Little David, to taking mom's car and driving to get ice cream when we weren't aloud to. Thank you for being so inspiring, Thank you for having such a contagious laugh, Thank you for all the gifts, Thank you for being you. We all love you and miss you so much, you are missed everyday, but we will all be reunited someday. I look forward to that. I love you. P.S. I took your head band from the last time you were visiting, because I liked it so much...I wear it all the time. Love , Madeline

Renea, we had great times at Crater Lake and, oddly enough, you have been in my thoughts a lot lately. You were a blessing to those you knew...you will be missed...

Renea you were a great friend, and always knew how to make us laugh. You always had a beautiful smile on your face that lit up any dark room. You will be missed and in our thoughts daily. Love Brandi and Cami
