Still Time to Register For Linn County Sheriff’s Citizen’s Academy

The Academy is free of charge and open to any Linn County resident.

(ALBANY) - Linn County Sheriff Tim Mueller says the 18th class of the Linn County Sheriff’s Office Citizen’s Academy will begin on Tuesday September 12th and will conclude November 21st.

Participants can look forward to 35 hours of interesting presentations designed to provide awareness and understanding of police procedures and conduct.

Each week, information is presented as lecture, demonstrations and/or hands-on experiences.

Classes will be held at the Sheriff’s Office in Albany on Tuesday evenings from 6:00 - 9:45 PM.

Applications may be obtained at the Sheriff’s Office, by visiting our website at www.linnsheriff.org or by calling (541) 258-6940 or (541) 259-6126.

Applications must be returned no later than 5:00 PM on September 7.
