Follow Eric Akiskalian, Keith Galbraith and Shawn Throdarson as they begin filming for the second season of Big Wave Addicts and launch episode no. 1. Watch as they get their season started and prepare for the giant swells that are expected to arrive between November 2012 thru February 2013 along the Oregon and Washington coastline. Eric Akiskalian, at 52 years old is a 2 X Billabong XXL Big Wave Award Nominee and veteran tow-in surfer who has traveled the world for the past 12 years chasing down and riding the largest waves he can find. As a recent XXL Nominee in the 2010/11 Awards from a wave he was towed into in Oregon, Eric believes there will be more opportunity to ride even bigger waves in the region w/ future swells. Follow Eric's 2012/13 Big Wave Adventures in the Pacific Northwest, as he and his established crew continue to search and tow into monster size waves. This year is no exception as they set out in search of waves in the 60'-70' range and possibly bigger if the conditions come together. When this happens, the safety, logistics and production crews will be ready to assist the tow-in teams. "If the right swell should develop and all the conditions come together, it is possible that one of us could ride the biggest wave ever ridden while setting a new record in the Pacific Northwest"- Says, Eric Akiskalian Special thanks to this seasons supporting sponsors and partners!
