Oregon I-5 South Closed at I-205 Over Fatal Pedestrian CrashSalem-News.comExpect serious traffic delays on Interstate-5, try to use alternative routes.
(PORTLAND, Ore.) - News sources are reporting that a serious fatal accident involving a pedestrian has traffic on Interstate-5 snarled and closed at the I-205 Interchange. There was no further information on the number of vehicles involved, but images on KOIN TV showed a large number of emergency vehicles in the area. They also reported later in their 11:00 p.m. news that a crash then took place in the northbound lanes of I-5, and that has led to the closure of those lanes. Needless to say, expect serious traffic delays on Interstate-5 and take all measures to avoid the affected area by utilizing alternative routes. We will report more as information becomes available.
