(ALOHA, Ore. ) - On Saturday, deputies with the Washington County Sheriff's Office were called to the area of the Aloha Huber Park School at 5000 SW 173rd Avenue in Aloha for an attempted kidnapping call. When deputies arrived they learned that four girls, ages 6, 10, 10, and 16, were walking home to their apartment complex on SW Kinnaman Road after playing at the school when a man on a bicycle tried to grab at the 16-year-old and one of the 10-year-old girls as he rode by. After the incident, the man rode quickly away. The girls ran home and reported it to their parents, who called 911. The girls told deputies that they had seen the man near the school prior to the incident watching them. Through their investigation, deputies believe that the man probably was attempting to touch the girls rather than kidnap them. It is unknown if the attempted contact was sexual in nature or not. Deputies searched the area for the man, but were unable to locate him. The man is described as a white male in his late 40's or early 50's. He has shoulder length gray hair, was unshaven and wearing a white shirt and dark jeans. The man was riding a green colored mountain bike and was last seen northbound on SW 173rd Avenue from the school. The Washington County Sheriff's Office wants to suggest parents to talk early and often to their children about the dangers of strangers and suspicious persons. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the Washington County Sheriff's Office at 503-846-2700. This has to be heartbreaking for all the hatemongers here....I dont see any comments, but you can bet if the perpetrator were Hispanic, we would get all kinds of the usual crap about how all the Mexicans are committing crimes and how the guy was probably an illegal. But when a white guy does it....silence.
