Salem Police and FBI Investigate Bank Robbery

(SALEM, Ore.) - The Salem Police Department and Federal Bureau of Investigation are investigating a robbery that occurred at approximately 11:10 am on October 19 at the MAPPs Credit Union located at 1900 Hines St SE in Salem.

The investigation revealed that the suspect entered the business and displayed a note to the teller.

The suspect was able to escape the business with an undisclosed amount of cash and fled out the rear door of the business. A canine track was attempted but was unable to locate the suspect.

The suspect is described as a white male adult, 20-25 years old, medium height, red/brown hair, unshaven, wearing a brown stocking cap over a dark colored curly wig, black women's style sunglasses, a two-tone blue zip up fleece or sweater jacket with royal blue on top, a horizontal white stripe and navy blue on the bottom, blue jeans and white shoes.

Four surveillance photos from the business show the suspect in the business.

Criminal informant Paul anthony beal. The salem police covered this up. He was sentenced for this and a few other bank robberys.
