Salem Public Library's Annual Book Sale Begins Today

Offering table after table of greatbooks sorted by genre, the sale will be the best deal in town for book lovers.

(SALEM, Ore. ) - The Friends of the Salem Public Library's annual book sale begins today.

Shoppers will find plenty to choose from in the Plaza Level Meeting Rooms at Salem Public Library, located at 585 Liberty St. SE.

General pricing for paperbacks and children's books is 50 cents each; for hardbacks, $1 each; and records for 25 cents each.

Funds raised by the Friends of the Library through the sale and other activities support projects and programs at the Salem Public Library.

The sale opens to the general public at 10:00 AM - 5:30 PM on Friday, and Saturday.

The sale finishes with a $3 Bag Day from 1:00 - 4:30 PM Sunday on Sunday.

Also offered throughout the sale is the Executive Collection, aselection of rare and collectible books at special prices.

Offered once annually, the collection is in its sixth year and contains even more books than in the past.

This year's collection includes autographed books and coffee table books; literature and miscellaneous titles; and Military and Regional/Ethnic History.

Also available will be specialty priced albums and lots of pamphlets.
