Albany Police Seek Help in Locating Bank Robbery Suspect

Investigators hope that anyone with information on the possible identity of the suspect will call the Albany Police Department Detective Unit.

(ALBANY, Ore.) - Albany's Bank of America branch at 1250 SE Waverly Drive was robbed Tuesday at 11:48 AM. Police say the suspect left the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is a male with short hair of unknown color, approximately 50 to 55 years old, five foot ten inches to six feet tall, and approximately 200 pounds.

He was wearing a light colored "floppy" hat, a dark blue long sleeved shirt and blue jean style pants. The suspect did not imply or display a weapon, and nobody was injured.

Police hope that anyone with information on the possible identity of the suspect will call the Albany Police Department Detective Unit at 541-917-7686 or the Albany Police Department business line 541-917-7680.
