U.S. Media and Press Are Guilty of MurderPolitical Perspective by Tim King Salem-News.com
People die every hour of every day because the media decides when ethnic cleansing is... and is not news.
(SACRAMENTO, CA) - Every day that passes without our so-called news media reporting the most dire problems in the world, is a travesty. This is going on too long, in too many places, where people are being brutalized and raped and tortured and murdered and the stalwarts; ABC, NBC, CBS and CNN, FOX of course; they literally decide what people should know and that is how they produce their programming.
Taking control of Syria is the current goal of the U.S. government and the one right before that was taking control of Libya. Another is to constantly demonize Iran for perhaps one day having a nuclear weapon, as Israel hides from the world at least 150 armed nuclear warheads. The U.S. government's goals are in effect the goals of Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netenyahu.
No news gets out without payment; media has been making too much money for too long with their commercials in the U.S. paid by big pharma and fat cat politicians who could give two cents about you and me.
Three years ago up to 160,000 people were killed in a massive government genocide in Sri Lanka. Their only 'crime' was keeping a goal of independence. Every day Palestinians are laid to waste at checkpoints, shot by Israeli soldiers from sniper towers, and thousands are held in torturous illegal conditions by the state of Israel. In Burma the Rakhine Buddhists are slaughtering the Rohingya Muslims; in Bangladesh the Rohingya Muslims are attacking Rakhine Buddhist villages in revenge.
All of this, while the U.S. government continues to kill people with drones in Pakistan without the authorization of that government and civilians die regularly, Obama's name is becoming synonymous with these deaths and it is harming the reputation of Americans in the world to no end.
While the predictable mainstream media mentioned above along with NY Times and similar publications craft the news to fit the U.S. corporate business plan, they actually serve as government agents; helping the U.S. State Dept. and other groups carry out unmentionable acts without exposure.
Murder is murder, same for mass murder and Genocide. The news media is failing hardcore and people are being ground into pieces as a result.
I spent last night writing up a story about the discovery of a man's body in Burma who had been tortured to death. The signs of this are visible all over his dead body and shown in detail. There is no outcry for this man, only Salem-News.com and my contact in Burma who managed to get the photos to me.
It's a lonely world when those who torture are allowed to continue carrying out their acts with the support of U.S. taxpayers and business. Did I mention that Hillary Clinton had the sanctions against the president of Burma for human rights violations lifted last week?
This, while Clinton and the revered opposition leader in Burma (Myanmar) Aung San Suu Kyi remain silent and in business mode, I don't think God forgets such behavior, what gives?
We are all failing, pray for the people of Burma.
