Police Seeking Information, Witnesses After Man Struck by Projectile

Police believe the man was shot by either a .22 caliber bullet or air rifle pellet.

(CORVALLIS) - Corvallis police are asking for the public’s help in locating who may have shot a Corvallis man on Saturday.

Just before 6:00 PM a Corvallis man was struck by an unidentified projectile in the left thigh. The man was in an alleyway in the 300 block of NW 25th Street when the incident occurred.

The man was transferred to the Good Samaritan Hospital Emergency Room by ambulance.

The projectile appears to be consistent in appearance with a .22 caliber bullet or air rifle pellet.

Any witnesses with information regarding this incident are encouraged to contact Corvallis Police Department Detective Mark Posler at (541) 766-6924.
