Oct-14-2011 20:39TweetFollow @OregonNews Putin Versus The American Drug CartelMike Harris Special to Salem-News.comIs Vladimir Putin the man Who Can Break the Global Drug Trade?
(MELBOURNE) - EDITORS NOTE: Mike Harris has pretty well nailed the origins of the worldwide Drug Trade, who is behind it all, and the use to which they are putting it. Drugs and Guns are the two most prolific and profitable industries in the world, and as long as we operate under the same rules of capitalist endeavor, and materialism which we have been for so many centuries, nothing we can do will change the system or the situation. “The only good news, if you can call it that, is that prices for opium are at a 10-year low and production is down because of oversupply in Afghanistan.” If the Illicit Drug Industry is the second largest industry in the world, the Anti-Drug Industry, or DEA, is the next largest. It is sometimes difficult to distinguish where one ends and the other begins. CIA has had control of the drug trade worldwide. Putin has been forced by this drug trade into a position where he has little choice; he can join, which they will not allow him to do, except to take him and Russia down, sit back and let it happen, or resist. Apparently, he has decided to resist… the hard way, and the only possibly effective way… get serious and take no prisoners! If Putin becomes serious, and goes after the drug trade with covert forces in a no holds barred, no arrests, no convictions but lots of funerals solution, he will eventually clash with US forces and interests, with fatal consequences for someone, which might escalate into more serious problems. This was what the European and North American Governments and traders did when they opened up China to the Opium trade which ultimately fomented the Opium Wars. I do not consider Putin, or any Russians, for that matter, to be “natural” enemies of the US, albeit the US has always followed foreign policies with regard to them as adversaries, which leaves them little or no choice but to assume an adversarial position, if not actual enmity, in self defense. That is unfortunate for two powerful allies such as they, working in coordination as a coalition with natural check reins and balances on each other instead of in contention, could build bigger and better monuments to man and civilization than the lone winner can after they have fought to the near death to see which one shall prevail. Cooperation always out performs competition. It is a shame, because if the US got its priorities and alliances straightened out, they and Russia, who shares the same enemy in Israel, would make an ideal international power alliance and trading partnership. Is Vladimir Putin the only man in the World Who Can Break the Global Drug Trade?By Mike HarrisIn several recent communications with US, Ukrainian and Russian friends, about the current set of conditions within the former Soviet Union I have been able to confirm that the CIS Countries are under covert assault by the CIA, Mossad, and Drugs Inc. It appears that the cold war has gone into a new and deadly direction. Currently Russia and the CIS countries are suffering from a new drug epidemic from the vast quantities of cheap, high quality heroin from Afghanistan. Since the US occupation, the Opium production in Afghanistan has increased one hundred thousand fold.
The net result is that another generation of young Russian white people is again being destroyed by Zionist interests. Currently 30% of the population under the age of 35 living in Russia and the CIS countries have tried or are using heroin.
The heroin is very pure and high quality, it is very cheap and highly addictive. Currently 75% of the opium produced in Afghanistan is destined for Russia and the CIS states. Since the USA controls the source of this cheap high quality heroin, the USA is responsible for this plague upon the people of the Eastern bloc. It is well documented that US soldiers and private contractors are both protecting the poppy fields and safeguarding the cultivation. The USDA is even providing agricultural advice (at US taxpayer expense), to increase the yield per acre of opium poppies. The USA is sponsoring this chemical attack upon the Russian people and their allies. My youngest brother reported to me that his Marine unit was ordered to protect convoys of drug smugglers. And a friend in the State Department has independently collaborated this same fact. I will do everything in my power to have a real war on drugs. Including working with Putin, former GRU, and Spetsnaz units. From reader… JT Ready It is well documented that the CIA has been involved in drug trafficking since former President George H.W. Bush, served as the CIA Director was in charge, when the CIA took to drug trafficking, primarily to fund off the books projects and avoid congressional oversight of CIA activities. (Recall the Iran-Contra scandal where 47 members the Reagan Staff were convicted and imprisoned)
In the USA the proceeds of CIA drug sales now buys elected officials, Judges and even entire police departments and law enforcement agencies, both in the USA and Mexico. I have received unconfirmed reports from what I consider to be highly reliable sources that Vladimir Putin is currently recruiting an anti-drug task force to wipe out the drug distribution networks within Russia and the CIS countries. I have been told this effort will be brutal and complete. It will make the old Stalinist purges look tame. Mr. Putin is in my opinion a true patriot for his country and his people. He will do whatever is necessary to protect his country and the nation which he responsibly looks after. He will not allow the formality of trials to stop his efforts. In the USA law enforcement community the standard is, not what you know; it is what you can prove beyond a reasonable doubt. Mr. Putin is not constrained with western liberal democratic politeness which allows drug traffickers and murders to walk away unscathed and enriched.
The word I get is that Mr. Putin is not concerned with convictions; he is focused on stopping the drug traffic into his homeland. I for one hope Mr. Putin takes no prisoners, that the death count is as high as possible and that he is truly successful in eradicating the drug trafficking networks from Russia. Where the Poppies Grow – Will the Hunt Begin Here ?I have also heard that Mr. Putin will not restrict his activities to Mother Russia, that he is forming special units to reach out and kill those involved, where ever they are hiding. Will Putin Put the Heat to the Drugsters?
The targets include but are not limited to: certain US politicians who are under USA protection and cover providing the required chemicals to process raw opium into heroin. Mr. Putin is going after anyone and everyone who has the blood of young Russians on their hands. Personally, I wish Mr. Putin the very best. He is the quality of leader that we need in the USA, a man who takes his responsibility to his country and people seriously, and will not sell out to the highest bidders, like the CIA, Mossad and the Israel lobby. I abhor the effects that toxic drugs have on the youth of the world. I volunteer my support and assistance to his effort to put Drugs Inc. out of business. Maybe when he is done putting the CIA and Mossad out of business in Russia, maybe the USA will hire him to do the same in our country. It seems our own government has no desire to stop the drug epidemic in the USA; too many of our own politicians are getting very wealthy from our domestic illegal drug problems. Viktor Ivanov , a former KGB officer and prominent member of prime minister Vladimir Putin's inner circle was in LA in October of 2010 to conduct a campaign against legalizing marijuana in California . He stated I'm afraid that the consequences of legalization will be catastrophic . I have as much faith in Putin the former KGB head as I did GHWB the former CIA head , two peas from the same pod . Its all political theatre as they enrich themselves at the expense of their own people .

Based upon everything I have read, I totally agree with Mike Harris' assessment of Mr Putin. I think it was around six months ago that I read where Russia and England had requested the US to help stem the flow of drugs into their countries. In his book, Crossing the Rubicon, Michael Murdock talks about the CIA's role in the poppy fields of Afghanistan and drug trade. We must always be cautious about US propaganda and based upon what I feel is more reliable information, my impression of Putin, I believe he is the right leader for Russia. He joins the Chinese in supporting Iran and the Palestinians and that's a pretty good start.

Mike just to add the leaked American diplomatic cables state ,'' Russia is a corrupt autocratic kleptocracy centered on the leadership of Vladimir Putin , in which officials , oligarchs and ORGANIZED CRIME are bound together to create a virtual mafia state . Arms trafficking , money laundering , protection for gangsters extortion and kickbacks , suitcases full of money and secret offshore accounts in Cyprus ''! They also state it is often hard to distinguish between the activities of the government and organized crime . Mike are these the people you want to put your faith into for cleaning up the scourge of hard drug addiction ? The USA has many problems but extolling the virtues of someone like Putin is not the solution ! If you really want to look at those who solved the problem , look at the former leadership of Afghanistan . The radical fundamentalist clerics STOPPED opium production in 2001 . GB JR sent Colin Powell over with millions in DEA money with a big thank you in the beginning of 2001 . After the war began production went thru the roof . Now if you are proposing setting up a theocracy and forcing everyone to follow islamic law , it still would not work in this country .

The question is who controls Russia ? The government or the Russian mob ? How does the vast amounts of heroin get into Russia , its not the US troops driving into and distributing it thru out Russia , its the russian mob . The mob and the CIA have been working together for years . Putin's plan sounds more like taking out the competition and giving more to his inner circle . I do not trust Putin or the CIA . What do you think happens to the billions in profit from the drug trade in Russia . Gee do you think any goes to bribe judges and Russian politicians ! Mike I would not look to Putin to solve the problem , he may well be part of it ,one of the biggest parts . BTW does it seem strange to you Mike that Russia keeps electing the same people over and over again ? . Its called a democratic dictatorship run by the mob .

If Capitalist endeavors have failed, Maybe Mr.Putin's approach will stop it.
