(BREAKING NEWS) Fatal Crash Near Dallas Halts Traffic on SR 233

The highway is completely closed for an unknown length of time.

(DALLAS, Ore.) - Police and fire emergency crews are on the scene of a major crash that has halted all traffic on Oregon State Route 233.

Oregon State Police troopers say they arrived to find a two-vehicle crash did involved at least one fatality.

State Route 233 is also known as the Kings Valley Highway.

The location of the fatal crash that happened sometime after 6:00 PM is near milepost 10, south of Dallas.

Police say all traffic there is at a stop, "The highway is completely closed for an unknown length of time," an emergency bulletin from the state police advised.
