(WHITE PASS, Wash. ) - Authorities say searchers have found seven bodies in the wreckage of a single-engine sky diving plane that crashed in the Cascade range.

The Cessna 208 Grand Caravan was carrying nine Snohomish-based skydivers and a pilot who were returning from a weekend outing in Idaho. The search for the remaining victims is expected to resume this morning, but authorities said it appears that no one survived.

The plane was reported missing Sunday night on a flight from Star, Idaho, to Shelton, Mason County.

Jim Hall, director of Yakima Valley Emergency Management says the families of those aboard had been notified, but their identities have not been officially released.

The FAA said the plane disappeared from radar screens Sunday night about two-thirds of the way to its destination.

The plane was found in mountainous, heavily wooded terrain near White Pass after searchers used the smell of fuel to locate the wreckage.

A press conference is set for 9 a.m. PT.
