(YAMHILL, Ore.) - On October 6th The Yamhill County Interagency Narcotics Team (YCINT) seized approximately 3 ounces of methamphetamine from a man with a lengthy history involving drugs. James Junior Valencia, 32, of Dayton was the passenger of a vehicle stopped by patrol deputies on Hwy. 240 near Williamson Road. The stop happened at the request of YCINT detectives after developing probable cause. According to YCINT Chair, Sheriff Jack Crabtree, the methamphetamine was found secreted in the vehicle and was tied back to Valencia. "Mr. Valencia was taken into custody at the scene and is now facing charges of unlawful delivery and possession of a substantial quantity of methamphetamine" said Crabtree. The case is still ongoing.
