Survivors have been forbidden for 45 years to tell their story under oath to the American public.

U.S.S. Liberty was attacked by Israel in 1967

(WASHINGTON DC) - On June 8, 1967, US Navy intelligence ship USS Liberty was suddenly and brutally attacked on the high seas in international waters by the air and naval forces of Israel. The Israeli forces attacked with full knowledge that this was an American ship and lied about it.

Survivors have been forbidden for 45 years to tell their story under oath to the American public. The attached video below tells their incredible heroic story of valor, honor, sacrifice and patriotism.

For 45 years the fallen and survivors off the USS Liberty, including their families, have been denied justice, have been denied a formal investigation of the attack, and have been denied a permanent memorial that remembers those that have sacrificed so much for our republic.

It is our responsibility as Americans to ensure that they are not denied their permanent place in our history by establishing a permanent memorial that honors these great American heroes.  http://solidarityus.org/usslibmf4355.html

For that reason, we have established the USS Liberty Permanent Memorial Fund. The fund will be used for the creation of a permanent memorial site in memory of the 34 brave American patriots who died, and the survivors of this deplorable historical infamy, America owes their heroes that much!
