One Dead in Overnight Shooting

Deputies later received information that two potential shooting victims were reported to have arrived at two area hospitals.

(PORTLAND, Ore. ) - The East Multnomah County Major Crimes Team is investigating an early morning shooting that left one man dead, and two others in the hospital.

Police were dispatched just after 4:00 AM to the Pleasant Valley Grange Hall located at 17115 SE Foster Road, after BOEC received a 911 call from a subject who indicated a male subject had suffered a gunshot wound.

When deputies arrived, they discovered the deceased body of a 25-year-old male victim.

Deputies later received information that two potential shooting victims were reported to have arrived at two area hospitals.

MCT detectives are currently investigating the information and it is not known if it relates to the Pleasant Valley incident.

At this time victim/witness names are unavailable as next of kin notifications have not been made and the investigation is continuing.

Foster Road from Jenne Road to 172nd Ave. is CLOSED to all traffic as detectives and criminalists continue their investigation.
