(PORTLAND, Ore) - Update: David Pedersen and Holly Grigsby Everett, Washington Murder Suspects In Custody By California Highway Patrol (Two Everett, Washington murder suspects were arrested Wednesday afternoon when a California Highway Patrol officer spotted the vehicle they were traveling in north of Sacramento. The arrest came after the officer received attempt to locate information regarding the vehicle and suspects. On October 5, 2011 at approximately 1:30 p.m. a CHP officer spotted the white 1999 Plymouth Breeze four-door with Oregon license plates in the Yuba/Sutter area. CHP officers initiated a felony traffic stop and detained, positively identified and took into custody DAVID JOSEPH PEDERSEN, age 31, and HOLLY ANN GRIGSBY, age 24. No more information is available for release at this time and updates will be provided later today.) On Wednesday, October 5, 2011 Oregon law enforcement officials released information regarding the search for missing 19-year old Cody Myers of Lafayette, Oregon and asked everyone to continue to be on the lookout for Myers, two vehicles including his missing white 1999 Plymouth Breeze four-door displaying Oregon license 025 CCH, and two suspects sought in connection with a murder investigation in Everett, Washington. Information indicates the vehicle and suspects were last known to be in the Linn, Benton, Polk and Marion counties. Law enforcement officials released information that the body of an unidentified young adult male was found late Tuesday afternoon in a mid-Willamette Valley remote wooded. The manner, cause of death, and positive identification is pending the results of an autopsy. Detectives have been investigating this death during the evening and morning. No specific information of the location is being released at this time. Investigators notified Cody Myers' family of this new information and will keep them updated of any further developments before information is released publicly. Family members did attend today's news conference and thanked the media and public for their help to find CODY during this time. They also extended their continued support of the investigative efforts. He was reported missing October 2, 2011 to Yamhill County Sheriff's Office. Myers is described as a white male, 6'3", 220 lbs, with brown hair and hazel eyes. Family has had no contact with him since he left home. During the weekend, Myers' white 1999 Plymouth Breeze four-door was spotted at least twice in the mid-Willamette Valley area. Based upon tips and information during the weekend, investigators believe the vehicle is in the possession of Everett, Washington homicide suspects 31-year old David Joseph Pederson, and 24-year old Holly Ann Grigsby. Suspect Pederson is a 31-year old white male, 5'10" tall, 165 pounds, with hazel eyes and red hair. Pederson has extensive tattooing on the upper torso, arms and neck. He also has a tattoo on his left cheek. Those tattoos were previously released by Everett Police Department and Oregon State Police. Suspect Grigsby is a 24-year old white female, 5'07" tall, 160 pounds (although she looks thinner in recent photos), light brown hair and hazel eyes. Information indicates she may have altered her appearance including coloring her hair bright red. Investigators are asking the public to keep an eye out for a 2010 Black Jeep Patriot Washington license ABZ7996. The front license plate has been replaced with a U.S. Marine Corp plate similar to one provided with this release. That vehicle is missing from the Washington residence and may have been abandoned in Oregon.
