Beaverton ATM Robbery
PHOTO: Surveillance Video

(BEAVERTON, Ore.) - On October 3, 2010, at 4:38 a.m., Beaverton police officers were dispatched to an alarm at Richard's Deli, 3625 S.W. Hall Boulevard. The front doors were found ajar and the ATM machine missing.

Upon review of the video tape, police found two suspects had pried the front doors open with a crow bar, pulled the ATM free from its floor bolts using a tow strap, drug it out of the store and loaded it onto the bed of a white pickup truck. The truck is possibly a mid 1980's, boxy style, with a black bed liner.

The ATM machine was later found in the middle of the road on S.W. Westgate, near S.W. Hall Boulevard. Although some damage was done to the unit, it did not appear the suspects were able to remove the cash contained inside.

Descriptions of the two suspects are limited but good video surveillance footage is available; please see the attached file.

Suspect number one, inside the store, appears to be a white male adult, approximately 5'10", medium build, possibly black or brown hair, wearing black or dark blue jeans, a grey puffier style coat, a black beanie, black and white tennis shoes and white or grey gloves. The suspect's face was covered by a grey neck warmer pulled up over his nose.

Suspect number two, the driver of the truck, was approximately 5'8", medium build, last seen wearing dark blue or black jeans, dark blue or black hooded sweatshirt with the number "07" in white on the back, white tennis shoes and light colored gloves.

If anyone has any information regarding this case, please contact the Beaverton Police Department at 503-629-0111.
