Oct-01-2006 00:48TweetFollow @OregonNews Former Salem High School Basketball Coach Indicted on Child Pornography ChargesSalem-News.comThe original case filed in Marion County Circuit Court will be dismissed now that the case has been indicted federally as part of a new federal initiative known as Project Safe Childhood.
(PORTLAND) - Rodney Andre Howard, a former South Salem High School basketball coach, was indicted by a federal grand jury Friday on one count of transporting child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography. According to documents filed by the Marion County District Attorney’s office in support of a search warrant, Howard’s AOL Internet account was discontinued because AOL suspected that the account had been used to traffic material which may be contraband. AOL captured the data and sent it to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children which processed the images and the email from Howard’s account, finding that it contained child pornography. The National Center then contacted authorities in New Mexico, given as the location of the AOL account by the subscriber. Instead, authorities assigned to Operation Black Ice as part of the Oregon Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force at the Oregon Department of Justice were able to determine that the emails originated from an AOL account location in Oregon which was registered to Howard. Oregon ICAC Investigators contacted Howard who gave consent to have his computers evaluated forensically. A forensic image of the computers was made and the computers were returned the following day. During the computer analysis, investigators discovered numerous sent email messages containing sexually explicit images of minor female and male children. Also discovered, according to an application for a search warrant, were numerous images containing child pornography which were attached to outgoing or sent emails. A search warrant was obtained to recover the original computers which contained the child pornography. Karin Immergut, the United States Attorney for the District of Oregon, stated that, “The protection of children from sexual exploitation on the Internet is a priority of this office. Children are our future: anyone seeking to harm them by using the Internet should be wary that federal resources will be used to their fullest extent to prosecute offenders, especially those close to children.” Articles for September 30, 2006 | Articles for October 1, 2006 | Articles for October 2, 2006 | googlec507860f6901db00.html | |

If I want to masturbate while looking at a picture of Aunt Jemima, that is my business.

Alice, Take a risk, take a walk on the wild side. Use your looks while you still have some allure left.

Alice, For you to compare pedophilia to homosexuality is beyond ridiculous. Your breasts and private parts were not meant for a man's mouth, that does not mean that you do not enjoy a man having a little snack now and then. Technically those activities historically were called sodomy by people who thought that the world was flat. It is not normal for you to put on lipstick or shave your armpits but I assume you do it anyway. Is that wrong too? Children are defenseless and need to be protected. If you are so fightened that one thing leads to another, you must be frightened that kissing leads to intercourse. So what if it does...even outside of marriage? Let the man in your life or woman enjoy your breasts even though they were meant for the mouth of a baby for it's milk. You can't outlaw things because of fear that something else might, might occur. Selling baby pictures of yourself is just that. What a person does with it, who knows and who cares. These people exist and you want to convict them of a thought crime. Your fears must make you mighty tense. Perversion to me is someone that has never studied human sexuality but has holy roller opinions on it. What adults do with other adults or pictures behind closed doors is their business. As long as a child is not involved, anything goes. A picture of myself as a child is just that..a picture...nothing more. It might be helpful for you to pleasure yourself and fantasize about whatever rings your chimes.

Main Entry: pe·do·phil·ia Pronunciation: "pEd-and-'fil-E-and, "ped- Variant: or chiefly British pae·do·phil·ia /"pEd-/ Function: noun : sexual perversion in which children are the preferred sexual object Merriam-Webster's Medical Dictionary, © 2002 Merriam-Webster, Inc. This perversion is being slowly normalized just as homosexuality was. It doesn't matter what you do, people will always try to push the limits to find out how far is too far. No emotion just observation. No I'm not that smart but at least I don't WANT to do something stupid.

Alice, You are intelligent. I have read your writings before. We are talking about MY FLESH! MY BABY PICTURES! NO ONE ELSE'S. Do I not have a right to sell my baby pictures to whoever I want? Or my baby shoes? It is ok to kill children in Iraq for oil, but I can't sell my baby pictures for money? I do not understand the logic. You are letting your emotions rule logic.

You're not a genius. Just thought you'd like to know. The $$ you talk about is from fresh flesh and some people eat it bit by painful bit. Hello?
Oh Baby, Baby, Baby! October 1, 2006 3:37 pm (Pacific time)
I have naked pictures of myself that my parents took when I was a little kid. (You can't put them in jail because they are both dead). Can someone tell me if it is illegal to sell them? They are not sexual in nature. Do I have a right to sell pictures of myself in my birthday suit? If someone wants to pay good money for pictures or home movies of me naked under age ten, do I have a legal right to cash-out? Until I find out, ain't no one gonna look at my baby a**. You have to admit, it is an interesting legal question. What the hell do I care if someone gets their jollys from looking at me as a kid. I would like to go for the cash. Besides, isn't that what America is all about? $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. I also have my baby shoes in bronze. Maybe someone has a baby shoe fetish that I can capitalize on. They should have a new reality show where people can sell their childhood photos to pedophiles. You could tease them and make them drool. The pedophile that drools the most gets the photos and the seller (me) gets big bucks. I wonder which network wants to try this new concept in reality T.V. Actually, I just realized that the cure for pedophiles might be to show them baby pictures of people like me that have nothing sexual about them. Maybe they will lose their desires when they do not see a child as a sexual object but more like a cherub. I'm a genius! I found the cure! Right here on Salem-News.com! I love my brain!
