Keizer Police Respond to two Robberies in 27 Hour Period

(KEIZER, Ore.) - This morning at 1:14 am officers from the Keizer Police Department responded to a report of a robbery that just occurred at Muchas Gracias Restaurant. This was the second robbery incident reported to the Keizer Police Department in a 27-hour period of time. Muchas Gracias is located at 3861 River Road North.

There were two employees working inside the business at the time of the robbery. They reported a lone male entered the business, displayed a handgun and then took an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect was last seen fleeing the business on foot. There were no injuries reported. Responding police units were unable to locate the suspect.

The suspect was described as a white male adult, approximately 25 to 28 years old, 5'08" to 5'9" with a heavy build. He was said to be wearing a pair of blue jeans and a grey short-sleeve shirt.

The Keizer Police Department responded to eight (8) robberies in 2008, nine (9) robberies in 2009 and this is the seventh (7th) robbery reported for 2010.
