(GALVESTON, Texas ) - News sources are reporting that "Baby Grace", a small child whose body was discovered on a Texas beach, has probably been identified.

Tentative ID has been made, but authorities are awaiting DNA test results to positively confirm that the girl is 2-year old Riley Ann Sawyers of Spring, Texas.

The girl's mother, 19-year old Kimberly Dawn Trenor, and her husband, 24-year old Royce Clyde Zeigler, have been arrested and they are suspects in the girl's death.

Taken into custody Saturday morning, both were charged with injury to a child and tampering with evidence. Bail for the couple was set at $350,000 each.

The child's remains were discovered October 29th in a plastic storage bin that washed ashore at Galveston. The discovery alerted the child's grandparents who made the call to police. The FBI has joined the case along with the Galveston Sheriff's Office.

The couple told relatives that the girl had been removed from their home by welfare officials in the state of Ohio, but they say they never intervened in the case and did not take custody of Riley Ann Sawyers.

For now, the family has been asked to not discuss the case with reporters. Police did not reveal what they found inside the home that led them to make the arrests of the parents.

This so heartbreaking. I have been researching child abuse for my Sociolgy class and you never hear about child abuse in the news till it is too late to help save the child. Why don't we do something before it is too late. Why do we let the ones with the less voice go unnoticed? How many more of our babies will we have to bury before people see we really dohave a growing problem on our hands? Rest in Peace Baby Grace. You are in a better place. No one can ever hurt you again, you got your wings.

All this happened to that little girl and no one heard her cries, her screams? Shame on the people who did hear and did nothing.

since it truly appears the mother did not want her child, she should have left her behind with the child's grandmother. even if once upon a time she did want her baby girl, she should not have taken her while she went on a fool's journey of moving in with a stranger on the internet. it was totally irresponsible to subject that innocent child to those kinds of danger. that poor child paid the price for her mother's foolhardiness. children deserve to be loved and wanted and protected.

This is truly sad, how people can let the enemy ( the devil) take over their whole body and mind to do a such a thing like this to an innocent child. Lord knows what really happened or what led to this incident and by that they will be tried here on earth and also on judgement day. God have mercy

It's a tragedy and so sad that we see yet another child killed so senselessly when their are good responsible adults who would make great parents out there. If they didn't want this child, someone should have had enough sense to put the baby up for adoption.
