Rebel Leader Zahran Alloush is Smuggling Syria's National Wealth to Turkey

(SALEM, Ore.) - Wael Alwan, the spokesman for Ajnad a-Sham, said Jaish al-Islam elements have discovered large amounts of valuables and antiques in the Damascus suburb of Douma in ancient areas of the city.

Rebel leader Zahran Alloush has distributed some of the valuables among his partners, and leaders of Jaish al-Islam affiliates. He intends to smuggle rest of them to Turkey, according to the report.

While people of this region are suffering immensely due to the presence of terrorist groups in the region, recent frequent protests against food hoarding by traders affiliated to the Jaish al-Islam has increased.
