Southern Oregon Soars Past Bethany

(KLAMATH FALLS, Ore.) - Southern Oregon University turned a 12 point halftime team lead into a 30 point rout in a 91-61 victory over Bethany University tonight in day 2 of the Midland Empire Insurance Classic at Danny Miles Court.

Five Raiders finished in double digit points as SOU moves to 5-1 on the season with the win, while Bethany University remains winless at 0-6.

Jordan Highland led the Raider attack with a team-high 18 points to go with six rebounds. Kyle Tedder knocked down 17 points to go with a game-high tying eight rebounds. Austin Wolfer came away with 11 points, followed by 10 each from Kellen Hawley and Scott Tiefenthaler.

Marqus Crawford led all scorers with a game-high 21 points and grabbed eight boards on the loss. Derek Watson followed with 12 points, with Nyjis McGhee adding 11 points and Micah Jones 10.
