(SALEM, Ore.) - A Dependency Hearing was held at the Marion County Juvenile Department Friday morning, concerning the custody arrangements for the four juvenile children taken into protective custody during this investigation.

Police say the four juvenile children, ages 9, 15, 16 & 17 years; will remain under the supervision of the Deptartment Of Human Services.

33-year old Audra Lee Kelly of 900 SE Parkcourt Apt. L138 in Vancouver, Washington, was present for the hearing. Kelly is the custodial parent of her two children (ages 9 & 16 yrs.) who had been living with the Kevin and Sarah Deal for approximately 18 months.

Detectives arrested Kelly on two counts of first-degree Criminal Mistreatment, with bail set at $20,000, and was booked into the Marion County Jail.

Police say Kelly's arrest resulted from her failure to remove her children from the poor living conditions when she was aware of them and for not providing any type of support in providing basic needs of the children.

Pedro, we are a long way away from Abu Grabe style Law Enforcement. People in jail and prison have it better then some of the working people. They sure have more rights then the every citizen. So please, think before you talk. The cops are just doing their job. The only bad news is that the kids are with DHS. Will see how they screw up this time.

OK, what happened to the charges of child pornography? Or was that just a trumped up charge that makes it easy to get a warrent to invade a person's home? If there's no child porn, these police officers should be prosecuted for their Abu grabe style law enforcement.
