#25 Concordia travels to face #12 Wiliam Jewel (Mo.) for NAIA National Championship Opening Round

Concordia, ranked No. 25 in the final NAIA Coaches’ Poll, finished the season with a 16-2-1 record

(KANSAS CITY, Mo) - The Concordia University men’s soccer team will be making their fifth appearance at the NAIA National Championships when it travels to face William Jewel in Liberty, Mo., on Nov. 20 the NAIA announced on Sunday.

Concordia, ranked No. 25 in the final NAIA Coaches’ Poll, finished the season with a 16-2-1 record and earned its bid into the NAIA National Championships with a 2-1 win over Warner Pacific College in the Cascade Collegiate Conference Tournament Championship on Saturday.

William Jewel (17-2-0) defeated No.15-ranked Missouri Valley 1-0 in double overtime to capture the Heart of America Athletic Conference Tournament and earn its bid into the championship tournament. William Jewel was ranked No. 12 in the final NAIA Coaches’ Poll.
