(PORTLAND, Ore.) - The East Metro Gang Enforcement Team is asking for the public's help in locating three suspects involved in a Home Invasion and Assault in Gresham last week. Sgt. Richard Wilson with Gresham Police, says on November 5, 2009 at approximately 9:30 p.m., 32-year old Daniel Hoffman, 27-year old Bradley W. Heffinger & 24-year old Emily A. Hatfield, all of Portland forced their way into a residence in Rockwood, severely injuring the resident in front of three very small children. The victim, who is not being identified at this time, sustained serious injuries and was transported to Emmanuel for treatment. The victim has since been released. Wilson says the investigation has determined that the three listed persons are of interest and police asking the public's help in finding them. All three individuals are currently wanted for first-degree Burglary and second-degree Assault. Anyone with any information is asked to call the tip line, 503-666-1844. Wilson said, "If you should happen to see these people call 911 immediately. Do not attempt to contact them on your own." Apparently the victim & suspects are known to one another via the sale, non-payment and apparent repossession by the victim of an automobile.
