Nov-12-2013 16:37TweetFollow @OregonNews Palin Puts Her Foot in Racist Soup AgainOp-Ed by Tim King Salem-News.comOwning human beings for profit and out of control debts... all the same to Palin.
(SACRAMENTO) - OK, we all know Sarah Palin is a ditz from day one and that in spite of her raucous conservative following, she is little more than an embarrassment most of the time. Well, she's back - this time comparing the national debt to slavery, yes that's right... slavery. Palin compares the national debt which her party is largely responsible for in the first place, to slavery, which is the forced ownership of human beings. The practice involves rape and separating mothers from babies, whipping people lashed to wooden poles, and plenty of forced labor, often without proper nourishment. Yes, Palin believes there is a parallel between the ownership of human beings for profit, and the US national debt. Now don't get me wrong, the debt is a problem that is only moving in one direction. It is a product of our ridiculous habits in America and it is driven largely by those in the financial arenas who constantly develop new methods to drain the last of the blood from this nation's veins. But put all of that aside. This is about ridiculous statements. Palin said during a recent CNN interview, "And that's not a racist thing to do by the way which I know somebody's gonna' claim it is." I find it odd that somebody would have such foresight but that they still manage to only make a racist statement. Palin told CNN's Jake Tapper on Tuesday that she did not back down from the remarks, despite Tapper asking multiple times if she could understand why people might be offended. She insists that it's not racist just to draw a comparison like that. In Palin's mind, slavery refers to "being beholden to some kind of master that is not of your choosing," and so "the national debt will be like slavery when the note comes due." She said, "I'm not one to be politically correct," dismissing the criticism. Tapper asked Palin if she could understand why African-Americans might have taken offense, and Palin replied, "I can, if they choose to misinterpret what it is that I'm saying. And again, you know, I'm sure if we open up a dictionary, we could prove... that there is a definition of slavery that absolutely fits the bill there." Geez life is too short for this stuff.

At the center of all of this, Tim pays extremely close attention to the safety and welfare of journalists worldwide. _________________________________________

Wait, us poor white folk can't even use the term "slavery" without being labeled as racist?

In less than 4 years the USA beat Hitler, Tojo and Mussolini. In five years Obama can’t even build a web site. Do the math! Marxism in any form is a failure and its proponents are equally failures both in mind and heart. Ask Russians who lived under Communism if they thought it was "slavery?" Ask anyone living under an economy that is controlled by a central government.

‘Bammy just played his 150th game of golf - - He kept over 240 military golf courses open during the government shutdown - just so he could play golf!

Sarah Palin should heretofore be known as: THE NATURAL Letter perfect. Never even a hint of flinching. Fearless. Yes, I wish she'd run for President and Yes, I think she is electable. She could be "the next Ronald Reagan".

Obama's economic incompetence, and the general incompetence of literally all other areas of his regime is slavery...This dude who is so smart, and is on top of everything is essentially Sgt. Shultz of Hogan's Heroes, but very dangerous to us Americans who work for a living and love our country. The deadbeats are about to go extinct. "The percentage of American civilians 16 or older who have a job or are actively seeking one dropped to a 35-year low in October, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. In September, the labor force participation rate was 63.2 percent, but in October it dropped to 62.8 percent—the lowest it has been since February 1978, when Jimmy Carter was president. The labor force, according to BLS, is that part of the civilian noninstitutional population that either has a job or has actively sought one in the last four weeks. The civilian noninstitutional population consists of people 16 or older, who are not on active-duty in the military or in an institution. At no time during the presidencies of Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton or George W. Bush, did such a small percentage of the civilian non-institutional population either hold a job or at least actively seek one. - See more at: http://cnsnews.com/news/article/ali-meyer/americans-participation-labor-force-hits-35-year-low#sthash.KVfudNS2.UF8SPHhT.dpuf

ECONOMIC INCOMPETENCE IS SLAVERY TO MARXISM:
Anonymous November 13, 2013 9:57 am (Pacific time)
On the financial front: Is the writer aware that not just people like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton claimed minimum wage laws were akin to slavery, but also nearly every congressional democrat? It was also claimed that being required to have voter picture ID was like both Jim Crow laws and slavery. Of interesting note, it was two Rhode Island black legislators that put forth a Bill to have picture voter ID or their state. It is a law in many other states, and black voting participation went up, but then votes were never over the number of registered voters like they are in some areas of the country, mostly "blue" urban areas. I could go on and on, but then it's pretty plain that showing all sides/angles of a topic is simply pretty tough for some to handle. Regarding the national debt, it has always grown faster under liberal policies when democrats have been in power. As far as government shut downs, it happened far more during democratically-controlled congresses. For example, 8 times during Carter, and 6 times under Reagan. As far as "slavery" all races/groups have had to deal with it, and whites have documentation of countless centuries under other whites, as well as under Asians and Muslims. Oh, how about the black unemployment rate...what's with that? Palin is a well-respected advocate for having less government in our lives, as that is the reason we went to war with England: (T)axed (E)nough (A)lready= TEA Party

SAW THE PALIN INTERVIEW AND SHE WAS SPOT ON ACCURATE. AS FAR AS THE NATIONAL DEBT, MAYBE TIM YOU SHOULD DO SOME ACTUAL ACADEMIC RESEARCH. I ASSUME YOU HAVE NO FORMAL BACKGROUND IN THAT AREA. BY THE WAY, SLAVERY, AS PALIN REFERENCED WAS CORRECT. HAVE YOU EVER TAKEN ANY SCHOLARLY BASED AMERICAN/WESTERN CIV COURSES? GOVERNOR PALIN SURE HAS POWER...LIVES IN THE LEFT'S MINDS RENT FREE.
