Portland Police Investigate Armed Robbery at Cricket Wireless

(Portland, Oregon) - This evening at approximately 6:30 p.m., Portland Police officers responded to the report of an armed robbery at Cricket Wireless, located at 3510 Southeast 122nd Avenue.

Officers arrived and learned that the suspect entered the store armed with a handgun and demanded money. The suspect then fled northbound on foot. Officers set up a neighborhood perimeter but did not locate the suspect.

Witnesses described the suspect as a white or Hispanic male in his 20s, 5'10", thin build, wearing dark clothes and a black bandana covering his face.

No video or photos are available for release at this time and Robbery detectives will be conducting an investigation into the circumstances of the robbery.
