(Salem) - The election is over and the honeymoon begins.

Everything is wonderful, although all recognize that Barack Obama has a nearly impossible job ahead of him. Yet there are those whose minds are so infested with hatred that they plot against him.

They would bring him down in the most cowardly fashion imaginable--by rumor. But will America listen to fabrications of deceit? Or have they had enough and will judge men or women by their deeds?

Johnson: Somehow yours permeates the page with the unmistakable odor of sour grapes. Generalities never precisely define anything in politics but yours re Demo-years/past display a surprising ignorance of the unmistakable mark of money and political noise which allowed such perpetration on the part of the GOP and its destructive neocon saboteurs. Re "experience", anyone having any realizes that diversity and innovation, as in the new voices now being heard, are by far the more important and controlling element. Re yours on future, why should we put any judgment (no e) at risk vs yours when it is so obviously political pander ?

In the same way that the free market says, "Profit in any way, but profit." We as a culture have to expand what defines success.

For the first time in 32 years, Democrats got more than 50 percent of the country to vote for their candidate in a national election, and now they want to lecture on how well they understand the voter dynamic? On 1/20/09 the most inexperienced individual in our country's history will be sworn in as President and his staff will be made up largely of Clinton retreads. My guess is that this will be a one term presidency at the very most. Impeachment(or criminal convictions) with the full vote of the senate is always a possibility for Bush, but the same holds true for anyone in national office. How about Sen. Boxer for incredibly poor judgement? Has there ever been a past congress that has had a lower approval rating than the current one? And someone wants this group to pass judgement on others?

To all: Forty years of politics built on "Win Any Way, But WIN !" is proof enough for this pudding, now surely in the same hot oven fired all that time by the same seditious cabal. IF we allow it to happen, we may well see anything from impeachment to thatbadword never uttered since it might come true --again !!
