Salem Group Will Offer a Day of Free Yoga for Military & VeteransSalem-News.comMilitary personnel have paid a high price physically and emotionally; the event will help you heal and reconnect with your spirit.
(SALEM, Ore.) - The organizers of a special Veterans Day event that will introduce servicemembers and veterans to Yoga, say it is something that helps us connect to our spirit with breath, with movement, with calm and steady focus. Within each of us is a spirit that makes us whole. Life can get out of balance, sometimes in extreme ways. The Indigo Wellness Center of Salem invites all veterans and active duty military to practice yoga or Pilates with us at no charge on Veteran's Day, Wednesday, November 11, 2009. Military personnel have paid a high price physically and emotionally, and the people at the Indigo Wellness Center say they want to help you heal and reconnect with your spirit. Just come to any class, we have 10 to choose from. No questions, no fuss. Just breathing and stretching and being present and getting grounded. Just yoga.
