(LONDON) - Channel 4 News presenter Jon Snow was on sparkling form at Channel 4's press briefing about its current affairs programmes on Tuesday.

After joking that he was only there to ensure it was confirmed the follow-up to his acclaimed investigation into the civil war in Sri Lanka will be an hour, rather than half an hour long, Snow revealed his "Desert Island Dispatches".

"I'd love to make a Dispatches about compliance procedures … it's absolutely monstrous," he said.

If only you'd done it before rash of viewer deception scandals a few years back, Jon – it would have been required viewing for TV industry types.
