(TEHRAN / SALEM, Ore.) - Iran has said that its participation in the Syrian peace talks and negotiations with U.S. is contingent upon certain preconditions which Washington has allegedly accepted.

Tehran's first requirement in order to enter the Syria talks is the immediate cessation of Saudi acts of aggression against Yemen, thus the U.S. administration has asked Saudi Arabia to end its war on Yemen.

Two days ago in a joint press conference in Riyadh with his British counterpart Philip Hammond, Adel al-Jubeir, the Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs reiterated that the war on Yemen has approached its final days.

The U.S. officials have also recommended to Mohammad Bin Salman—the Saudi King's son and Minister of Defense— that the continuation of hostilities in Yemen is not for the interest of KSA and Arab countries and must be terminated in once.

The Americans have exhorted Mohammad Bin Salman that it is for the interest of Saudi Arabia to sit at the negotiation table and accept the political solution to end the war in Yemen.
