Nov-05-2010 09:39 ![]() ![]() Americans Unprepared for Coming WarsTim King Salem-News.comA war on Iran, a nation that has done absolutely nothing to provoke the US military, will be the least supported and most disastrous conflict in American military history
(SALEM, Ore.) - The American media is delivering a real disservice to its citizens by ignoring the warning signs of a pending series of violent, deadly new wars. These conflicts will ruin or destroy all that is left of America if we don't rise up and refuse to support them. Warning signs? Israel's operations have been escalating on the southern border of Lebanon, U.S. Navy ships including submarines and one major aircraft carrier are operating in the Persian Gulf; Israeli commandos attacked a Turkish aid ship last May killing nine men, including an American. Regardless of the clandestine secretive approach, the US government is preparing for a war in Iran and likely will back Israel's planned conflict in Lebanon. In reality America is a young nation with a tired military; wracked with war injuries including thousands upon thousands of cases of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, from two unwinnable wars in the Middle east; neither of which were necessary, legal or moral. With the pressure of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) and the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and politicians like Joe Lieberman, a war in Iran, and the devastation of our last amount of humanity, has every chance of taking place. In fact I suspect that a war on Iran, a nation that has done absolutely nothing to provoke the US military, will be the least supported and most disastrous conflict in American military history, and they do after all... only get worse over time. Millions of Americans are already programmed to hate Iran; it is over the hostage crisis of the late 70's. Iran let those Americans go though, eventually they were all released. Iran, historically the great Persian empire, did that because the US and UK had raped its oil profits since the end of WWII, and because in 1953, the US removed Iran's elected president and replaced him with Mohammad Rezā Shāh Pahlavi, the Shah of Iran- who functioned as a puppet for the political ambitions of the west. But the reporters don't tell you about that, they only talk about Iran's nuclear ambitions. We are talking about a broken system of communication that allows news media generated hate to flourish. Political Commentator James Morris talks about several points surrounding this American media blackout in the interview below with Press TV's Hassan Tavakoli. At the heart of the matter is the recent bomb scare scenario- with U.S. reporters once again publishing and broadcasting information that was not properly vetted or researched. Their method of receiving information from the U.S. government and then regurgitating it to the public, is sort of like a fish going after a lure, then experiencing a bowel movement. First of all, Al Queda was created by the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency, the CIA. It was a U.S. funded organization designed to oust the Soviets during their occupation of Afghanistan. Among those who benefited from the affair: a Saudi Arabian Wahhabi hero, named Usama bin Laden.
Do you know about the Wahhabi sect of the Muslim faith? They are the people who insist on women wearing burqas, women being banned from driving, education, equal rights... the list goes on and on. They made sure the US didn't display flags on Saudi soil during the first Gulf War. These are friends of the US and yet they are the most radical single element of Islam. They only represent a small fraction of the Muslim population, and they are extremely oppressive. This is who the US sides with; fanatical element represents the royal family of Saudi Arabia. Yet news media in the US wants you to think hardcore interpretations of the Hijab are strictly an Iranian problem, when they are not. But it sure is a problem in Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia's governments; the allies of the US in the Middle east. When it is all boiled down, the American media hangs the problems of the Muslim world on the countries that the US and Israel actually want to go to war with, all the while ignoring the seriousness of the problems in Saudi Arabia. In reality Israel only seeks to expand its borders, it seeks to expel native Palestinians from the land their ancestors settled, and it does not seek peace; in fact just the opposite if you simply examine the record. Black, white and blue When you consider the facts, the two sworn allies of the United States today are Israel and oil. Other nations are walking to a different beat and the US has become far less significant as world citizens abandon the last remaining hope of American being anything less than a total ongoing threat to world peace. The good news is that Americans won't lose as much as they would have in the past. That is because this nation's overall lifespan is lower than in previous years. That way when we all die in WWIII, we will have a measurable amount of something that we will not lose. Just remember to thank Israel and their religious fanaticism known as Zionism for reducing the number of years that your future generations will have to endure. Just think, at the rate we're going new parents won't have to save money for their kids' college tuition, at the rate we're going there will be nothing like that to worry about. No more house payments, worrisome political struggles, just a clean blastoff to the next world and all in the name of Biblical teachings, what a deal! Thanks Israel! maybe you should try flipping burgers..taking someone else's photos and trying to use them to "prove" your point only demonstrate how weak minded you are. The Iranians has sponsored proxy forces throughout the world for some time now. do us all a favor and crawl back under your rock. there's too many grown ups in the real world who might hurt your little feelings.

If you do not like the U.S then get the hell out! Go live some where south of the border like mexico where the cartels will skin you and your family and the police and government wont do shit about it
Tim King: Nah, I'd rather see your type leave, trust me that would be a better idea.
Vic June 11, 2011 12:33 am (Pacific time)
Are you stoned or something? The first picture is of soldiers in Kuwait doing training. They aren't going to go into combat wearing t-shirts, no body armor and without weapons. The "dead soldier" behind the wheel of a humvee sure bears a resemblance to a clip from the movie Black Hawk Down. Infact, I'm going to contact them and let them know you are using an image without their permission. I'm not even going to get into your half-baked views supporting Iran... even though they are 40 years behind the U.S. in technology. But if you're going to pass off uneducated political bullshit as news, at least have a disclaimer that you don't intend to tell the truth.
Editor: Go tell your babysitter asshole. These pictures were sent to us you whiny idiot and stated as claimed, I hate morons like you, get out of here, you are rejected.
A better man than Tim December 4, 2010 2:24 pm (Pacific time)
Tim, you, like so many others, don't know what you're talking about. You are all too happy to show pictures out of context and spew nonsense all over people about the US Military and it's preparedness... but have nothing other than a political ax to grind in support of your position. Stop failing... this isn't news. It's crap that does nothing to bring Americans any closer to the truth about what happens in Iraq. For example, are you aware that they are exporting dates again for the first time since the Iran-Iraq war destroyed that industry? Are you aware that the province of Diyala managed to execute 3 years worth of budget in 1 year (Most American towns, let alone our Federal Government, can't do that...)? My final, and possibly most important point, are you aware that Iraqi's now talk about political solutions to their problems rather than violent ones(IE-voting, running for office, etc...)? Neither do most other people outside of Iraq and the few Americans, like me, who helped to set the conditions for these achievements. Save your snarky bs reply for someone who cares what you have to say... I don't. Neither should anyone else.
Tim King: then why do you spend so much time writing this? You care and so do I but we disagree on the approach, fair? Hell, you don't even have what it takes to state your name, you are nobody and if you want to be somebody, then for God's sake identify yourself and don't approach this like a name calling coward. Iraq is a horrible tragedy and all of your talk means little, people can get that crap from FOX News all day. We are a truth group, deal with it.
jean November 11, 2010 7:50 pm (Pacific time)
Thank you, Tim King. I am a new reader and just bookmarked you. This country needs many more INFORMED truth tellers in it's media. BTW, THAT LOVE IT OR LEAVE CRAP COULD HAVE BEEN THROWN @ MANY on all sides.........like the tea partiers shouting themselves sily.since the 2008 election, and is like saying throw out your kid if they make a mistake. No, you talk to and inform them and try to teach them to do what is right, this is how I take your article.
Malkozowi November 6, 2010 10:51 pm (Pacific time)
I'm from the middle east and I think this is total bs you write about. You absolutely have no clue on anything. And it's funny you work for a news company called "Salem". If you ever look at the word jarusalem you would notice "Salem" is in it ha!
\Tim King: The Middle east, like you mean... Israel? Salem means peace, our goal is peace and the avoidance of war. Glad you find humor in it, I don't think any of this is a laughing matter.
None oF your damn business Tim king! November 6, 2010 10:45 pm (Pacific time)
You are a liar! You can get out of this country if you don't like it you anti- American all I ever see
you do is talk bad about the great USA. You my misleading person will be judged by the almighty jesuse Christ and will be seen as a liar to the American people and to all that support it! Israel will always be our Allie till the day the world ends and you calling them Zionist your no better than the Iranian president. Love it or get the hell out! Go live in Iran and get your shit out of this country! Your the reason why everyone says our media is evil. Tim king if you live long enough you will see the great power o the almighty god and you will see that you are wrong in every way. You call yourself a marine I call you a fake and user of the marines to get you to the place you are now of your dreaded life! I have plenty of military people I know and veterans and they think you are a moron and they all have fought in the middle east, get some sense or get out! On judgement day you will regret what lies you have told and the stuff you say about Israel. And Iran will fall it doesn't take anyone to tell me about how evil Iran is just like you said they are the "great Persian empire" which was an evil empire and it was stopped. Us Americans could jus sit back and watch Israel take out Iran on it's own we wouldn't have to even fire a round. Israel would wipe Iran off the map not the other way around. Iran will fall and you will see. And I you don't think Iran has bad intensions well you you are dumb, why us it the Iranian people want a new government and freedom? I mean come on they still stone women! And I want you to do something for me stop being a reporter and get off your lazy ass and go fight bc I really think you were a sit back and do f*cking nothing marine bc you don't know shit! (spoken from a true marine myself). And I don't really care about my typing skill and punctuation and shit Im so furiouse with you I don't give a sh*t! All your post are bullsh*t. Bye and thanks for nothing!!
Tim King: Do you speak to your mother with that mouth? All of the little babies crying their eyes out because they are too stupid to even begin to read the truth, or read a history book. I will always be here to piss you off and I convey the truth. I hope they send your ass to the front lines because most Americans actually have a clue and eould never direct their weapons at Iran. You talk about stoning women, well every time it happens it is a headline news story, every year or two. Want to talk about the babies burned by willie pete in Gaza? Want to see pictures. Then there are those 'rocket attacks' from Gaza that have killed exactly 28 Israelis since 2001, they would have you think thousands died from this. We have articles and video to back everything we say. You on the other hand had to use profanity multiple times which is clearly a violation of our ruiles. But then Americans don't follow rules do they? They fund murderous governments like Israel that are racist crap and apartheid operators; genocidal bastards- that is the Israeli government. Americans don't follow rules of engagement, so why follow any rules? You don't need to worry about my eternity, worry about your own, things may get a bit warm.

1. Iran is a nation which is a signatory to the NNPT.
2. Because of this fact, all of the nuclear work Iran is doing (with Russian technical assistance) is thoroughly monitored by the IAEA.
3. To date, no inspection of Iran's nuclear reactor has found any nuclear materials missing, nor have nuclear materials been enriched beyond the 20% necessary to fabricate medical isotopes.
4. There is absolutely no tangible evidence that Iran has a weapons program.
5. Such an attack will leave our military in Iraq and Afghanistan sitting ducks for a counter-offensive.
6. Russia and China will most likely not sit on the sidelines when one of their most important trading partners is attacked, and these are nuclear armed countries.
7. The blowback from unintended consequences of such an attack may be very grave for the United States.
8. The US could, possibly, do a blitzkrieg attack, but because most of our manufacturing has been offshored, there is no manufacturing capability to sustain a long military campaign against Iran.
p.s. I agree with Tim's research in this article.

Using pictures of our dead soldiers has been in the media since the Civil War. I must admit after seeing how some of our enemies use our dead soldiers and American civilians as propaganda, it's started to give me pause. When I saw our Rangers drug through the streets in Somalia, the burned American bodies hung on a bridge in Iraq, and many other similar pictures, the aspect of the propaganda of these pictures used by our enemies makes me and many of my fellow Americans and veterans quite angry, and to the point I want to see some serious payback. Of course that's the attitude some people want. Do you recall the clapping and smiling crowds throughout the muslim world after the 9/11 attack? We live in a very violent world and frankly Israel, even if we cut back 100% of our support, they in time will have that ultimate showdown. My guess it will be nuclear, and I pray if it happens our military is far removed from the area. It's time to bring our people home and use our technology to deal with our enemies in Afghanistan, Iraq, and other locations. So far they have prevented a second 9/11 type attack, but our internal security is at risk, and that should take priority. One thing is apparent, that those who control the media will not inform the public of the info they really should have. Kind of like why Hollywood has not made a feature film about the USS Liberty, for then people would realize enmasse, that the Zionists are the enemy of America, and always have been. And they are as thick as thieves within our government infrastructure, both elected and otherwise.

While nothing out of D.C. makes sense, I can't see them launching a new war simply to stop Iran's Russian-provided nuclear power alone, while continuing to stand by silent in the face of the North Korean nuclear threat, and now even actively promote nuclear energy in communist Vietnam. I might have supported action against Iran during the election crisis, had we not wasted our efforts invading Iraq. I was not around for the hostage crisis, though, and when I think 'Iran' only Mahmoud comes to mind. I think ultimately the USA will continue to supply Israel with billions in weapons as usual; Israel will launch some missles at Iran, and Iran will in turn continue to fund shia militants in Lebanon/Syria to fight yet another deadly proxy border war.

@Stephen Real: You know I am glad to see your comments up there. You are accusing the author of the same deception, duplicities and lies that has been practised for decades by the people you seem to be defending - the zionists and their supporters. I think this article is like a mirror, you have just looked into it, saw the image and you didn't like it. Job done!

You lack a serious understanding of the issues Tim King. Al Queada was founded sometime between August 1988 and late 1989. The name 'al-Qaeda' which means "the base" was established a long time ago by mere chance. The late Abu Ebeida El-Banashiri established the training camps for the mujahedeen against Russians in Afghanistan. The name stayed. U.S. officials estimate that, from 1985 to 1992, 12,500 foreigners were trained in bomb-making, sabotage and urban guerrilla warfare in Afghan camps the CIA helped to set up, but did not found. Bin Laden was one of the key players in organizing training camps for the foreign Muslim volunteers.
Al Queda was not "created by the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency" Mr. King. I would debate you on the rest of your wacky theories but I'd be doing research all night long and the old lady wouldn't like it. Your article is misleading to the American public and I take offense of your vulgar display of dead US service members to advance your political agenda.
Tim King: My political agendas are peace and truth and justice, what do you have to say about that? What is yours? It seems you are restricted to semantics here; the US was completely behind the formation of al Queada and it was for a good purpose, the Soviets devastated Afghanistan and I have been all over that country, and I have also been the Jalalabad where every third guy is a bin Laden lookalike. I am not misleading the public, I am telling the truth, and those images are the truth, that is how it ends up, so your resentment means very little, though it is a symptomatic of the bigger picture in America. Who cares if you are offended, those guys are dead and your feelings have nothing to do with it. Spend some time in the war zones as I have and then come back and lecture me again.
