Calm or not rjerryc is correct. The fog may have been an additional hazard but unless it appeared suddenly out of nowhere and the crash happened seconds later the drivers could have pulled over and stopped. It was driver error to continue to drive in circumstances that were not entirely safe. It disgusts me how so many let drivers off the hook for what is THEIR FAULT. Ah well...

rjerryc: Relax. This is normal to name a cause of an accident due to fog, ice or whatever. You need calm down.

Fog is being blamed for the crash? That is like blaming a gun for robbing a bank! We seem to always have a need to blame something other than our fellow humans for everything that happens. The fog did not cause the crash. Humans caused the crash. The humans were operating the vehicles involved and had control over whether they fog was hazardous enough to cause them to stop and not continue driving in it. Aren't we humans the strangest animals? We always blame inanimate objects for our own stupidity
