This visit could put Palestine on the map and bring real change to Gaza.

(LOS ANGELES Akashma News) - Hamad Al-Khalifa will visit Gaza City Thursday to open two schools which have been funded by the Bahrain Royal Charity Organization,” a source close to UNRWA, the UN agency for Palestinian refugees, said Tuesday.

There are rumors all over the internet about the visit of Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa to Gaza, but the Bahrain News Agency does not have any news relating to this high expected visit.

Also there are sworn statements that Prince Nasser committed torture: “In June 2012, the Berlin-based European Center for Constitutional and Human Rights (ECCHR) urged British authorities to ban Nasser from entering the UK to attend the 2012 Summer Olympics in London as the president of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, due to the allegations of torture against him.

In documents submitted to British authorities, the ECCHR described how Prince Nasser launched “a punitive campaign to repress Bahraini athletes who had demonstrated their support (for) the peaceful pro-democracy movement.” It said that following his directive, “more than 150 professional athletes, coaches and referees were subjected to arbitrary arrests, night raids, detention, abuse and torture by electric cables and other means.”

I searched the Site and could not find the documents cited on Wikipedia and other outlets, maybe someone can direct me to the actual document. thx

Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa is Charmain of the board of Trustees of the Royal Charity of Bahrain that was founded in 2001 to help Barhain orphan children. Later on in 2007 they also implemented help for widows and later they broaden their help to other areas of charity.

We know that Bahrain does not enjoy a good reputation these days, but for Gaza the visit of a high raking Royal could be good news, specially if they engage in charity work.

Even if we reject the idea of charity, Gaza really is in dire condition and can not turn down some help from outsiders, especially in these moments that it is being attacked by Israel; the assistance could be a respite from the stress.

I do not think that Israel will want to injure a Royal personal of Bahrain. They do not have diplomatic relations since 2009, but rumors around says that the kingdom was ready to establish business relations with Israel.

On October 26, the Imam of the Grand Holy Mosque in Makkah, Dr. Shaikh Saleh Bin Mohammed Al Taleb called in his sermon on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha all the Muslims to fear God and remember the Day of punishment when they behold all those gatherings. He also called on fearing the return to His Almighty God, as well as calling on the whole world to bear their moral and legal responsibilities for the massacres, injustices and ongoing violations committed every day in Syrian and Palestine.

This visit could put Palestine in the map and to bring real changes, specially to Gaza that can not see the end of the siege.

Money it is good adviser, who knows if Barhain kingdom make business with Israel as a condition to end the siege will turn the tables around.

Who say that money is not the wheel that moves the world?

The next is a documentary on Bahrain Athletes
