(SALEM) - The driver involved in Saturday night's single vehicle rollover fatal crash on Interstate 5 south of Salem, 17-year old Carlos Miguel Cabrera has been transferred to the Marion County Jail. Oregon State Police say they are continuing their investigation into Saturday night's single vehicle rollover crash on Interstate 5 south of Salem that has now resulted in the death of a passenger. The driver, who is the victim's son, has been transferred from the Marion County Juvenile Detention Center to Marion County Jail. The crash happened Saturday April 29th, at approximately 10:20 PM. A 2003 Nissan Altima that police say was driven by Carols Cabrera of Baldwin Park, California, was southbound on Interstate 5 near milepost 242 when it struck the center median guardrail and rolled, ejecting the driver and passengers. Cabrera received minor injuries and was transported to Salem Memorial Hospital for treatment. 38-year old Roberto Miguel Cabrera was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in Corvallis with serious injuries. Oregon State Police were notified that he died Sunday morning approximately 6:52 AM. He reportedly was the driver's father. Another passenger, 21-year old Mayra Hinojosa, also from Baldwin Park, received serious injuries and was transported to Salem Hospital. Preliminary criminal charges including Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants, Reckless Driving, Recklessly Endangering Another Person, Criminal Mischief and Assault.
