(SALEM, Ore.) - "Chrome and Ink", the first ever Tattoo & Kustom Car show in Salem is this weekend, a production of the Portland Tattoo Expo and the Oregon Ink Show.

Mr. Matt Gone, a Portland Native who has been featured in the Guiness Book of World Records, the TV Show Freak Show, and Ripleys Believe it or Not as a man covered with 99% of his body in a human checker board motif will be at the show along with 200+ award winning tattoo artists.

Tattoo machines will be humming all three days at the Oregon State Fair & Expo Center.

"We're proud to bring these artists to the capital city to celebrate tattoo and kustom car culture for the first time!" said Bill Daniels, the Master of Ceremonies.

The public is invited to see for themselves what so many people are taken by. You'll find unique and intriguing items to buy, and enjoy the beer garden, and irresistibly good food. There is face painting for the kids, tattoo contests, an art gallery, art fusion, artist seminars, live on-stage entertainment including the "Miss Chrome & Ink contest". You can depend on having a memorable time, especially when tattoos and cars are brought together.

It's an event the whole family will enjoy, and learn a lot too, celebrating the tattoo and kustom car culture.

Hours are:
Friday 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Saturday 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Sunday 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm
