(SALEM, Ore.) - Members of the Linn County Sheriff's Office Dive Team recovered the body of 20-year old Anthony Dupuis of Salem Thursday at 1:40 p.m. Mr. Dupuis was reported missing on May 16th after jumping into the Little North Fork of the Santiam River at Salmon Falls Park. Officials say the search was suspended late on May 17th due to high water levels and swift river currents. The Marion County Sheriff's Office has been monitoring the river conditions since the search was suspended. Both the Marion County Sheriff's Office and Linn County Sheriff's Office resumed the search late Thursday morning. It is reported that the lack of precipitation over the last several days contributed to improved river conditions. The improved conditions allowed the dive team to enter the water with reduced risks and hazards to the rescue team. Linn County Divers found Mr. Dupuis in an area just below Salmon Falls Park.
