(SALEM, Ore.) - Police in Salem say the Plaid Pantry Store at 3105 River Road South, was robbed this morning about 2:00 a.m. by two suspects, one of which was armed with a long gun.

Lt. Steve Birr with Salem Police says the first suspect is described as a male, probably white, wearing a dark hat, a bandana covering his face, a green jacket, dark athletic pants with white stripes down the sides, and black shoes with white stripes on the sides.

The other suspect is believed to be a female, wearing a dark colored hooded jacket, dark pants, and white shoes with a black stripe down the center of the top.

Birr said, "They fled the store with a small amount of cash. A track with a Salem Police K9 led to the residential area just southwest of the store where the track ended. The pair most likely had a vehicle there."

There is a reward of $1000 offered by Plaid Pantry for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects.

Birr asks anyone with information concerning this crime to call the Salem Police Department at (503)588-6123.
